U8 to U11 Berowra FC SAP and Development Squad trials

If you are keen to be considered for our Under 8 to Under 11 Mixed SAP and Development teams for season 2020 you must register by Thursday, 31 October 2019. Only registered players will be considered for selection.  Please see below for further information.

Berowra FC 2020 SAP and Development Squads – Season 2020

Trials for our 2020 SAP and Development squad teams (under 8, 9, 10 and 11) will be held over two weekends –

Sunday, 3 November and Sunday, 10 November.

Venue: Asquith Boys High School grass field.     

Times:

Under 8 – 9am to 10am

Under 9 – 10.15am to 11.15am

Under 10 – 11.30am to 12.30pm

Under 11 – 12.45pm to 1.45pm

If you are unable to attend either one or both dates but have an interest in selection, please complete the form and advise unavailability in the additional information field. Please note that preference will be given to players who attend the trials.

We will be selecting two teams in each age group being one SAP side (Skills Acquisition Phase) and one Development team.

What is the difference between the SAP and Development programs?

Berowra FC – 2020 U8 to U11 SAP League Cobra Academy Program  

The goal of the NSFA SAP League is to improve development opportunities for players and coaches within local football clubs, while also underpinning the Northern Tigers SAP and the NSFA Super League and Diamond League competitions.

Berowra FC was selected as one of 12 NSFA clubs. Our selection underpins the hard work the club, coaching partner T3, our local coaches and players have put in over the past few years. It is an exciting concept and will provide continual development for our junior players within the club.    

Players selected in the SAP team will train twice weekly for a 30 week period. They will receive training from a T3 coach for both sessions. The T3 coach will also coach the team each match day. The T3 coach will be assisted by a Berowra FC coach.

The SAP League team will effectively be the top graded players in each age group.

Berowra FC – 2020 U8 to U11 Development Squad Program  

The development squad program will be run as per season 2019. Teams will train twice weekly. One session will be coached by a T3 coach and the second session by a Berowra FC appointed coach. Match day coaching will be provided by the Berowra FC appointed coach. The program will run for 16-18 weeks during the season.
